Are you a hard-working individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for a cook at our omelet station at our breakfast buffet. We need someone who can handle preparing the food station, cooking a high volume of food, and ensuring that all food safety and storage regulations are followed. Our ideal candidate has food industry experience, preferably cooking in a high-volume environment, or fast-casual restaurants, and a willingness to learn. We need a team player who is ready to work alongside other crew members and has excellent time-management skills. If this describes you, apply today! This is an hourly based position with additional tips that can be made at the station. Responsibilities: • Set up cooking stations and fill them with all of the essential preparation items for a shift• Adhere to established storage and waste control standards for meats, vegetables, fruits, and dairy products to ensure quality food is served• Interact with visitors, vendors, and associates while maintaining a professional and positive attitude• Keep all workstations, counters, cooking equipment, and refrigerators clean and sanitary according to health and safety rules Qualifications: • Possesses a strong work ethic and have high attention to detail• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team members• Previous experience working in food service is preferred• Candidates need a strong understanding of compliance with kitchen safety and food storage requirements• Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certificate Compensation: $15 - $19 hourly About Company: We are a full-service and hopping hotel in a high occupancy market.
