Yipit, LLC POSITION TITLE: Product Development Associate POSITION DUTIES: Key innovators and producers in helping the company to ideate, vet, and build new, market leading products for the institutional investor clients. Support building products that are critical to the investment process for many of the world's top funds. Utilize Python and SQL to sharpen existing skills by vetting and building new data products. Work with massive amounts of data on the performance of important companies, using proprietary methods. Learn vital techniques on ensuring data accuracy and deriving key insights across a number of types of data. Create and write data reports that are consumed by the top investors in the world. Gain insight into how investors think about companies and the most important questions they need to answer to make stock portfolio decisions. Learn how to ideate products, get user feedback, and then implement that feedback to make the products better. DEGREE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Finance or related field. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 2 years of experience in the position offered or related occupation. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:Utilizing experience in a financial field related to the investing world; utilizing experience in coding; analytical skills; data and product management; and problem solving. Skills may be gained through academic coursework and concurrently while pursuing academic studies.
