Supporting our regional office in Tempe, AZ, will be working in the field for customers locally and surrounding states. Must be willing to travel - usually 100% travel Monday - Friday. (Pumps, Motors, VFDs, Plumbing, Mechanical and Electrical Systems, Piping, High Pressure Components, Industrial Controls, PLC Systems, etc) Assembly and installation of new equipment and systems at customer sites This position requires extensive travel, a solid knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatic, electronics and experience in troubleshooting such systems You will represent and promote the company; its products and services, as well as pro-actively seek and pursue new prospects/projects, with existing and prospective customers, in order to increase profitable sales Build relationships with our valued customers and keep their needs at the forefront at all times What You Bring to the Position: High school or equivalent - required, Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree preferred 2 years minimum of experience in field or related area, 5 plus years preferred Strong Knowledge and background in mechanical, plumbing, electrical and electronic systems Familiar with mechanical and electrical equipment Experience with bending and installation of rigid, IMC and EMT conduits Ability to perform load calculations for circuits and calculate working circuit ampacities to determine proper conductor size 3 Phase WYE and Delta experience, and electrical panel building Knowledge of PLC systems operation Able to understand mechanical, electrical, and electronic/computer hardware functionality and use knowledge to troubleshoot equipment. Strong customer orientation – you need to be dependable and hands-on. Self-motivated, self-starter, sense of urgency, well organized and detail oriented. Hardworking, honest and ability to work effectively under pressure Fluent in English with the ability to communicate effectively Ability to travel extensively - Driver’s license and excellent driving record required. Ability to pass stringent background screening and obtain military base clearances. PHYSICAL DEMANDS:The work is considered medium-to-heavy in nature and involves walking, standing, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, balancing, lifting, digging, pushing or raising objects and also involves exerting between 20 and 50 pounds of force on a recurring basis and 50 to 100 pounds of force on an occasional basisWe are an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer and welcomes all qualified applicants.
