We welcome you to join our team of caring, passionate and motivated individuals as a Live-In Supportive Housing Specialist. Acenda's expert team helps each individual, family and community move forward in their journey towards health and happiness.The Family Partner facilitates parent involvement and parent leadership at the Family Success Center; develops Family Success Plans in partnership with families based on the goals of the family. Incorporates and implements the Principles of Family Support and the Protective Factors into all aspects of their work. Advocates for/with families as needed; increases the family's ability to problem-solve and advocate for themselves and their children. Establishes a trusting relationship with the families. Participates and assists in coordination of Center activities and events.Key Responsibilities: Provides safety and security of adult tenants within the apartment complex Promotes an atmosphere of wellness and recovery Requirements: * High School Diploma or equivalent, plus four years of related work experience may be substituted for a degree. Bachelor's degree preferred. * The Housing Resource Specialist is required to reside on-site * Knowledge of property maintenance, including rent collection, minor repairs, cleaning and maintenance. * Must have and maintain a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record * Must be sensitive, flexible and responsive to gender, race, ethnicity, socio-economic status, religion, age, sexual orientation or any other special needs as reflected in the ability to communicate with staff and/or clients.
