Our goal is to maximize system availability safely for our clients by providing superior services. Role Description: This is a full-time position for a UT Inspector in the Western Pennsylvania area. The technician will be responsible for independently carry out examinations utilizing the Ultrasonic Testing Method. Conduct each examination in compliance with written procedures and interpret results in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and industries specifications. The technician will also be the lead point of customer contact and a representative of DTS on various job sites. Job Qualifications: Highschool diploma or equivalent. Minimum 3 yrs. experience as a certified Level II in Ultrasonics. Certifiable to UT Level II in accordance with SNT-TC-1A. Familiarity with ultrasonic testing systems (Epoch 650, Sonatest Wave, Krautkramer USN) Practical understanding of ASME, API, and AWS codes. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics Excellent communication skills to communicate technical information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. Proof of classroom and OJT hours (this is a requirement) Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Willingness to travel and work overtime as required.
