Job Overview: Mama Shelter Los Angeles is seeking an enthusiastic and personable Restaurant Host to join our team. As a Restaurant Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will play a key role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for them. You will be responsible for greeting guests, escorting them to their tables, managing reservations, and maintaining the appearance of the restaurant. Responsibilities: Welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant and provide them with menus Escort guests to their tables and ensure they are comfortable Manage reservations and maintain an accurate record of bookings Manage the flow of traffic throughout multiple outlets Communicate with the kitchen and servers to ensure a smooth dining experience for guests Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the restaurant, including tables, chairs, and decorations Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries and requests Provide guests with information about the hotel, restaurants & bars, including menus, specials, and events Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times This job description is not an exhaustive list of all the job functions that a team member may be asked to perform from time to time at the direction of the leadership team.
