OPEN POSITION: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Urgent CareSCHEDULE: - Full-Time- Up to 80 Hours per 2-Week Period- 12-Hour Shifts- 8:00am to 8:00pm- No On-CallCOMPENSATION:- $150,000 to $170,000+ Annual Salary, dependent upon experience- Malpractice w/ Tail Coverage- Health / Dental / Vision Insurance- Life / STD Insurance- Paid Time Off- $2,000 Annual CME Allowance + 1 Week Paid Time Off- 401k- Full Details NegotiableLOCATION: Fairfield, ConnecticutCOMPANY PROFILE: For more than 10 years, this urgent care organization has been providing affordable, immediate medical care to the Fairfield community. They treat patients for a variety of ailments, including sprains, strains, flu, pneumonia, fractures, rashes, occupational injuries, and more. Their services include, but are not limited to, urgent care, telehealth, digital x-ray, and physicals. They are a mult-site urgent care practice and are currently hiring due to growth.POSITION DESCRIPTION: Serve as an urgent care provider, seeing an average of 40 to 50 patients per 12-hour shift. All patients are prepped by a clinical assistant. The office sees patients of all ages and the provider must be comfortable providing urgent care to infants through geriatrics.The provider will work in a standard urgent care capacity:- ordering and interpreting laboratory and radiologic testing- prescribing medications- venipuncture- preparation and administration of medications- dressing changes and wound management- application of splints- incision and drainage of simple abscesses- removal of foreign bodies- suturing of simple wounds or lacerations- removal of sutures or staplesThere are no on-call responsibilities.The practice uses the Experity EHR.
