While helping patients with cardiac monitors and interpreting cardiac rhythms, you use your skill and compassion to make our patients' lives better. Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center in Northwest Portland is known for its specialty programs and clinical excellence. Legacy Good Samaritan features nationally renowned doctors in cancer care, kidney transplantations, neurology, ophthalmology, weight-loss surgery, robotic surgery, rehabilitation and more, with access to emergency care if needed. Responsibilities The Cardiac Monitor Technician observes cardiac monitors for arrhythmias, notes changes with reference to acceptable levels for each individual patient, and reports changes to the patient's nurse and the Patient Care Coordinator (PCC). Performs clerical functions as assigned. Qualifications Education: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and the successful completion of a cardiac dysrhythmias course. Skills: Able to accurately interpret cardiac dysrhythmias. Basic familiarity with computers preferred.
