The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in workers' compensation defense and possess strong communication and reliability skills.Duties:Manage and handle a caseload of workers' compensation defense cases from initiation to resolution.Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.Attend hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members.Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on workers' compensation matters.Participate in case strategy discussions and contribute to the development of case theories.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the California State Bar and eligibility to practice law in California.Minimum of 1 year of experience practicing workers' compensation defense law.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Demonstrated reliability and professionalism.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the California State Bar.Skills:Legal research and writing.Litigation and trial experience.Case management and organization.Negotiation and settlement skills.Client counseling and relationship management.Proficiency in relevant legal software and technology.Time management and prioritization.
