The ideal candidate will focus on a variety of personal injury cases, such as auto accidents, motorcycle accidents, truck accidents, and slip-and-fall incidents. They will advocate for clients, handle complex cases from intake to resolution, and maintain a high level of thoroughness and diligence throughout the process. This role requires strong negotiation skills, trial experience, and proficiency in case management systems. Duties:Manage a caseload of personal injury cases, handling all aspects from intake to verdict or settlement.Serve as an advocate and ambassador for applicants and claimants, working closely with paralegals and legal assistants.Communicate with clients to understand their legal needs, provide advice, and keep them informed about case progress.Develop strategies to resolve cases favorably and cost-effectively.Review discovery documents and determine the best course of action for each client.Take, review, and administer full depositions of case witnesses and experts.Prepare all necessary documents for case filing, maintaining a caseload of approximately 150 cases.Collaborate with legal assistants and paralegals to prepare comprehensive trial briefs.Maintain a regular schedule of hearings, court appearances, and conferences as required by case demands.Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and handle property damage claims.Utilize advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite and case management systems.Demonstrate the ability to multitask and exhibit strong organizational skills.Exhibit strong written and oral communication skills, with bilingual proficiency in Spanish preferred. Requirements:Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.Licensed to practice law in New Jersey.5+ years of experience in plaintiff’s personal injury law.Proficiency in negotiating settlements and resolving property damage claims.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite and case management systems.Experience with trials and handling complex personal injury cases.Strong written and oral communication skills, with bilingual proficiency in Spanish preferred.
