Position Description:This position provides leadership in thermal design, analysis, and test support of various NASA Space System projects such as: Human Landing System (HLS) to deliver American astronauts the first woman and next man on the Moons south pole International Space Station (ISS) environmental variables controls, and experimental payloads thermal/fluids support Space Launch Systems (SLS) Avionics Thermal/Fluids support Ground Support and Test Equipment Spacecraft Thermal/Fluids support Qualifications:A degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Aerospace Engineering or related field with at least 2 years of experience is required. A degree from an ABET accredited university is preferred. The Successful candidate shall have: Proficiency with thermal test set up support, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Experienced in thermal desktop code and thermal testing Deep understanding/ knowledge of orbital thermal environment development Excellent written and verbal communication skills Familiarity with NASA standards and MSFC Specifications Experience with leading engineering teamsProof of U.S. Citizenship is required.We are an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
