A great job-and a great future-awaits you! #BuddigProud #BuddigCareersJOB SUMMARY:As a General Labor/Packaging for Carl Buddig & Company you will be responsible for producing product by preparing and packaging cooked product for shipment with a safety -minded attitude that maintains and enhances a safety culture for the benefit of the Company and its employees.MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:--- Load bulk meat logs (up to 30 pounds) into meat slicer at required production frequency levels.--- Perform random re-weight checks of sliced meat product.--- Review and inspect product.--- Place pre-determined amount of sliced meat products into packaging.--- Reject meat product that does not meet specifications.--- Place required number of packages into box.--- Inspect individual packages for proper quality specifications at a rate of 21 - 40 units per minute.--- Ensure that boxes are filled per required levels.--- Place completed boxes on pallet ensuring proper pallet configuration.--- Place empty pallet into position for proper stocking.--- Always maintain areas in a clean and sanitary manner.--- Inspect equipment for sanitary conditions.--- Inspect product for quality and any signs of foreign material contamination.--- Contribute to team effort by performing other duties as assigned and needed.
