If so, look no further this is the position for you!! You will be responsible for planning and delivering professional nursing care throughout the perianesthesia continuum. This position requires: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an ADN or a BSN in order to meet the recommended entry level for a professional nurse (or equivalent academic and/or professional experience). A BSN is preferred.A current license to practice professional nursing in the State of Wisconsin. Three years of current post-anesthesia or critical care experience is required. Current CPR certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross is required.PALS certifications required within 1 year of employment.Pediatric experience preferred.Must possess good eyesight, hearing, emotional stability, physical endurance and dexterity in order to draw meds, use phone, and write messages.Ability to stand/walk for up to 8 hours, and lift and move large pieces of equipment weighing up to 40 pounds.Ability to work under stressful conditions and remain mentally alert for accurate judgmentHours: start times vary between 6am to 9am; 8 hour shifts; Monday through Friday.Children's Wisconsin is an equal opportunity / affirmative action employer.
