Follow this link : myapps.kwiktripLocation: Department 378Shift: Afternoon/EveningsExperience:1:3 yearsMinimum Starting Pay: 26.19 Kwik Trip's Maintenance Department is looking for a self:motivated Ammonia Refrigeration Technician.Benefits: :40 profit sharing:401K contribution:Paid sick time and holidays:2 weeks accrued vacation:Health/dental/vision/life insurance:Footwear allowance:Prescription Safety Glasses allowance:Extra compensation for on call responsibilities Duties and Responsibilities: :Inspect, Maintain and repair Industrial Ammonia Refrigeration Systems:Execute system pump downs or isolations to facilitate opening, rebuilding, replacement, and repairs as needed.:Conduct and analyze routine daily tasks such as equipment evaluations for proper operating parameters.:Troubleshooting and assisting production departments with maintenance issues, and emergency cooling issues; both ammonia and HVAC. :Teach / mentor other Technicians in advanced troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs.:Complete PSM compliance paperwork:Follow blueprints and diagrams to diagnose and complete repairs:Read and comprehend code, regulations, manuals and procedures Job Qualifications: Successful candidates should have a minimum of five years' experience operating and/or servicing industrial Ammonia Refrigeration Systems. :Knowledge of ammonia systems with CARO and CIRO certification, or equivalent certifications with the ability to obtain CARO/CIRO.:Knowledge of electricity, electrical motors, controls, and wiring to perform trouble shooting and repair duties.:Skills in basic welding to perform equipment repairs.:Skill to read and understand electrical, building, PID, and system/equipment blue prints, schematics, and diagrams.:Ability to ensure all maintenance is completed to the required specifications and codes or regulations.:Ability to communicate effectively with co:workers at all levels to communicate project scope and requirements:Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and applicable codes or regulations.:Knowledge of Maximo and Microsoft Office Programs.:A valid driver's license with a clean driving record Physical qualifications: stand up to 8 hours; lift:up to 100 pounds; bend, reach, and twist frequently; work in a variety of weather temperatures/conditions.
