Job Summary This position will coordinate new hire onboarding and manage safety trainings, handle incident investigations and hazard analysis and will reinforce safe behaviors and conditions. Essential Duties : Conduct safety awareness training and communications annually and during new hire onboarding: Conduct authorized safety training as required: Participate in incident investigations and identification of corrective actions: Provide training for supervision in incident investigation and root cause analysis: Provide training on behavior based safety, track and communicate collected data: Drive participation by plant employees: Conduct risk assessments: Facilitate corrective actions for at:risk tasks: Update/upgrade training programs: Provide communications with all job classifications on safety awareness in the form of daily huddle topics, postings, etc.: Conduct ergonomic assessments for operations: Review and maintain safety programs and documentation for compliance with corporate policies/procedures: Provide technical assistance for all safety related plant programs: Participate in new project installation prestart up safety reviews: Identify nonroutine tasks and assist in planning and implementing risk reduction efforts: Provide assistance with environmental activities : stormwater pollution prevention and spill prevention, containment and countermeasures, recycling, etc.: Other duties may be assigned as needed Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
