Zwanger-Pesiri Radiology is hiring for Medical Coders.Radiology experience preferredTuesday through Saturday 8:30am - 4:30pmFarmingdale, NY*In office position only* Coder job responsibilities: Reading and analyzing patient records Determining the correct codes for patient records Using codes to bill insurance providers Interacting with physicians Keeping track of patient data over multiple visits Managing detailed, specifically-coded information Maintaining patient confidentiality and information security Collaborate with the billing department to ensure all documentation is accurate and precise Essential duties: CPC certification required Familiarity with ICD-10 codes and procedures Working knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy preferred Excellent typing skills Proficient computer skills Ability to communicate, both verbal and written
