Job Summary The System Director of Patient Services, primary responsibility will be to uphold and enhance the core standards from our patient dining standards guide.This position will complete regularly scheduled patient dining reviews with the local patient service managers and smaller site location managers.They will then review their findings with the local teams and discuss a strategy to correct any deficiencies.Once a strategy has been established, the System Director of Patient Services will provide the tools, resources, support and training to assist in ensuring the deficiencies are corrected.The System Director of Patient Services will meet in regular cadence with the local PSM and local site manager to ensure progress is being made and any barriers are cleared for the team. This position will support several campuses within the Wisconsin region. Key Responsibilities: Coordinates and implements system's patient service programs based upon system's medical direction, patient population, and contractResponsible for working on the line with the team during at least two meal periods, completing test trays, power plates and shadow reports with the team members.Hires, leads, directs, coaches, trains, and develops patient services managers and supervisorsOversees the evaluation of and discipline of patient food services employees, as applicable and according to departmental policyMonitors competency, productivity and documentation accuracy of patient services managers and teams utilizing necessary tools and resourcesVisits patients on an assigned nursing unit or area and helps ensure that every patient is visited by a member of the management or professional team at least once during their hospital stayEnsures patient services staff assists in achieving stated patient satisfaction goalsCommunicates effectively with all team members, patients and families through conferences, individual consultation and committee participationPerforms other tasks that may be assigned Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Hospitality Management or related field or equivalentMinimum of five (5) years' work experience with at least two (2) years in healthcare, including one (1) year in a managerial positionCertified Dietary Manager required if associate does not have a degree in Nutrition or Dietetics; Registered Dietitian preferredServSafe(R) CertifiedSome knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentationSupervisory, leadership, management and coaching skillsCommunication skills both written and verbalAbility to communicate on various levels to include management, client, customer and associate levelsFinancial, budgetary, accounting and computational skillsProficient computer skills to include; various com
