Position Summary Work as a piping/plumbing layout Designer, you will support design development of facility layouts, piping, and equipment 3D models for various projects as part of the NS and E execution center team. The projects that will be assigned involve government work throughout various sectors including DOE and DOD, as well as commercial nuclear projects and business development projects. Responsibilities :3D modeling of piping and equipment in a Revit MEP3D model environment.:3D modeling of piping and equipment in a SmartPlant3D model environment.:Preparation of drawings/documents for General Arrangements and riser diagrams, etc.from Revit MEP.:Assist with coordination of 3D model activities, i.e., input, interference reconciliation, etc. with other physical related disciplines.:Assistwith plans and schedules and prepare/maintain design procedures andstandardsto provide quality design documents.:Interface with stress and pipe support engineers, construction, and suppliers during the preparation of piping designs for the purpose of model/space control, etc.:Perform coordination review of specifications and other documents prepared by others. Qualifications and Skills Basic Qualifications :Level 1:AA/AS/Cert degree with 3 years of related design experience; or in lieu of degree, 7 years related design experience.:Level 2:AA/AS/Cert degree with 5 years of related design experience; or in lieu of degree, 9 years related design experience.:This role requires a facility:specific clearance that requires U.S. Citizenship.:Must be able to complete a pre:employment drug screen and background check. Minimum Qualifications :Hands:on experience using Revit MEPfor piping/plumbingdesign and drawing generation.:Knowledge and application of ASME B31.1 and/or B31.3 or application of local codes. Preferred Qualifications :Previous Bechtel and/or DOD or DOE project experience.
