In this position, you will play a pivotal role in mobilizing the common component strategy into our business practices like purchasing process and product development process. Your expertise will ensure that our products and processes in these spaces not only lead industry performance but also optimize effectiveness for our operational productivity and competitiveness. Key Tasks and Responsibilities (Essential Functions) : Strategic Planning: Facilitate the development and execution of a comprehensive common component strategy into our product development and supply chain processes. Collaborate with cross:functional teams to align initiatives with business goals and objectives and bring this philosophy to life in select products. : Project Management: Work closely with product design, engineering, sourcing and manufacturing teams to lead multi:functional, multi:faceted project(s). Lead the specific project planning and coordination from (1) day to day tasks to high level planning, (2)scheduling, (3) risk management, (4) budgeting (resources and expenses) and (5) communications. Champion needed change management activities. Responsibilities include (1) defining and gaining alignment on objectives, scope and structure and (2) execution to acquire results on:time and on:budget : Collaboration: Foster strong collaboration between product design, engineering, sourcing, finance and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration of principles. Facilitate communication and knowledge sharing to drive a unified approach. Facilitate discussions, brainstorms, alignment and conflict management to enable how to execute the strategy and implement needed processes. : Risk Management: Anticipate and mitigate potential challenges related to technology, data integrity and timely execution. Identify design constraints, production bottlenecks, and potential failure points to develop proactive solutions that minimize disruptions : Performance Tracking: Develop metrics and KPIs to monitor the success and impact of the projects across processes impacted. Regularly assess the efficiency gains, quality improvements, and cost savings achieved. : Standardization: Lead and/or collaborate on developing and implementing policies, standards and procedures for projec
