Pay:48,000 Annually Position Summary:This is a Grants Specialist V position within the Office of the Attorney General, Victim Services:Advocacy and GrantsDivision. Qualifications: : A bachelors degree from an accredited college or university and 2 years of administrative experience in the areas of accounting, banking, accounts receivable, payroll processing or other related field.: Professional or nonprofessional experience as described above can substitute on a year :for:year basis for the required college education. Preference may be given to those with previous grant management experience. The Work You Will Do:This position's duties include managing VOCA grants, which includes but is not limited to: : Completes special projects and assignments as directed.: Reviews grant applications to ensure compliance with the grant program.: Conducting desk audits and reviews for program compliance and preparing reports of findings and corrective action needed.: Reviewing and recommending approval for change requests and invoices submitted by subgrantees.: Providing technical assistance to subgrantees on program requirements.: Monitoring budgets, expenditures, and reporting requirements of subgrantees.: Assisting in the implementation of grants management, including budget, expenditure, reporting and correspondence requirements of the grant program.: Preparing periodic progress and evaluation reports on grant activities.: Related duties as required.
