Additional requirements: stylemargin:bottom:11.0px:: Fire Safety Inspector Certification in accordance with F.S. 633.: A valid Florida driver's license.: At least one (1) year experience in fire code enforcement or building code enforcement.: Experience conducting building construction inspections relating to fire code enforcement.: At least one (1) year of experience working with computers with a Windows operating system.: Must be familiar with Florida Statutes 633 and Florida Administrative Code 69A governing fire prevention requirements, manufacturers, dealers, and users of explosives.Preference: : Experience conducting or preparing public outreach programs relating to fire safety. This position will be filled at 47, annually. Employees of the Department of Financial Services are paid on a monthly pay cycle. This position requires a security background check, including fingerprint as a condition of employment. Responses to qualifying questions must be clearly supported by the state application and any omission, falsification, or misrepresentation in the answering of the qualifying questions will be cause for immediate elimination from the selection process.
