Job Summary CalPortland is seeking a summer helper for our Internal Controls department. This position is ideal for a student interested in accounting. Compensation 17.50/hr:24.00/hr DOE Responsibilities:Complete Safety and MSHA training and any other site/job specific required training:Assist in conducting preliminary reviews to identify business process:related risks to determine objectives, scope, audit programs, and extent of testing requirements:Assist in routine housekeeping and maintenance of the facilities:Assist in providing customers with high:quality value:added audit, internal control, and consulting services:Learn about other CalPortland departments and interface as required :Perform tasks as assigned Education Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field Requirements/Qualifications:Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e.Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint):Good attendance and punctual:Ability to work independently and in a team settingPreferred: :Experience with SAP:Prior experience or internship in the construction or building materials industry Conditions of Employment Successful candidate must submit to post:offer pre:employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
