Job Description This person will work directly with the dining managers on campus as well as the district marketing manager. This position encourages the incorporation of related class room experience, personal campus knowledge and Aramark resources to effectively create marketing strategies and campaigns to build our program on campuses. There is a wide scope as it pertains to this position and the student will be involved in day to day operational items as well as goals and plans as it relates to the strategic growth. Relating to the professional growth the person working in this position will be required to dress in a professional manner and appropriate for the day's tasks. Time Commitment: Average 15/hrs. per week, with flexibility to change hours week to week, and assigned work days as needed based on academic commitments. Schedule availability can range from 9am to 9pm, with possibility of some weekend commitments as deemed necessary. COMPENSATION: The hourly rate for this position ranges from 16.00 to 18.00, depending on circumstances including an applicant's skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). This is Aramark's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting. If hired, employee will be in an "at:will position" and Aramark reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time AND FOR ANY REASON, including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO for reasons related to individual performance, Aramark or individual department/team performance, and market factors. Job Responsibilities:Work closely with the district marketing manager, food service director and front line managers to develop, plan, implement, and execute special events, promotions, and residential programming:Update and edit campus dish website: monitor website for menu and nutrition content accuracy.:Research information presented on comment boards (via social sites, Voice of the Consumer) to implement suggestions, correct issues as they arise, and create informative campaigns to be proactive in addressing guest concerns.:Learn about and help implement general marketing research to ensure correct competitive positioning in the market. This includes retail pricing, local consumer trends, and new local competition as it relates to our individual markets.:Learn to design and produce marketing materials, including signs, coupons, brochures and mailings.:Update marketing materials sent by corporate to ensure we are keeping with company's marketing missions. Tools for this are the marketing calendar, LTO promotions, and other materials sent by the Marketing Program Manager designed for specific locations.:Develop an understanding of dining operations and assist when deemed necessary. This is to provide a better understanding of how the account works to assist in more effective promotions.:Assist in scheduling focus groups with various groups on campus to gain customer feedback. Assist in conducting and creating final report for focus group.:Implement the survey process in the fall as set forth by the company. Become efficient with online surveys to gather specialized information for upcoming projects, brands, and other relevant campus changes. Work with team to engage campus community to increase use of Voice of the Consumer program.:Attend various meetings with director, marketing manager or other people as necessary for development. Connect with campus groups for the creation of partnership events.:Learn about guerilla marketing tactics and assist with meal plan messaging in the dining locations, including setting up an information table in the beginning of each semester.:Other duties as assigned.At Aramark, developing new skills and d
