The ideal candidate should have at least 5+ years of experience in healthcare regulatory and transactional matters, focusing on mergers and acquisitions. The role requires extensive expertise in various areas of healthcare law, including business transactions, regulatory diligence, fraud and abuse issues, licensure, enrollment, and reimbursement within Medicare and Medicaid frameworks.
