As a University Housekeeper, you'll play a vital role in ensuring that our facilities are clean, safe, and conducive to student success. 2nd shift-2pm-10:30pm Position - Cleaner/housekeeper Scope of work: Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas; Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; Dust and polish furniture and fixtures; Clean and sanitize restrooms; Empty trash and recycling bins; Restock supplies as needed...Hiring Immediately $18 an hour. Key Responsibilities: Perform cleaning duties in assigned areas, including classrooms, offices, common areas, and restrooms. Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards. Emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste in accordance with university guidelines. Restocking supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and hand soap as needed. Conducting periodic deep cleaning tasks to ensure facilities are maintained to the highest standards. Collaborating with colleagues and supervisors to prioritize tasks and address any maintenance issues promptly. Qualifications: Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping preferred, but not required. Training will be provided. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors. Commitment to upholding cleanliness and safety standards in a university environment.
