Ametek, Inc.Job description: Your Impact: The Sr. Product Manager is responsible for product development activities and deliverables along with lifecycle management for the product(s) within their scope of responsibility. They will participate in cross-functional product develmopment teams and be responsible for voice of customer, defining user requirements and other deliverables to ensure both both market needs and the strategic goals of the roadmap are met.They will contribute to the development of the multi-year roadmap, clearly identifying and defending the must-have from nice-to-have requirements. Backed by detailed market, technology, and the competitive data, evangelize a strong vision for your product, holistically addressing considerations including user needs, performance, supportability, cost of ownership, configuration, etc. What You'll Do... Regularly engage with external and internal stakeholders to accurately understand market needs; represent the customer and effectively use voice of the customer (VoC) insights in all phases of the product lifecycleCollaborate with the product engineering group to meet project deadlines/scope and write user stories while ensuring the feature set meets customer expectations and fits with overall product roadmapCommunicate with all stakeholders - internal and externalSupport Regional managers and distributor salespeople with technical product knowledge during their sales process by reviewing RFPs /bid documents, answering questions and occasional customer visits.Be the voice of the customer for marketing communications in the development of product support materials for use by our customers,Manage the life cycle of assigned product(s) Do You Have?... Bachelor's Degree and 7+ year experience in marketing or product management.Experience with various commercial models including subscription1+ year experience in working as an Agile product ownerExperience as an inpatient RN preferredBusiness case development for software/cloud applications and platformsAbility to think and plan strategically and urgency to execute operationallyHealthcare IT/ MedTech industry experienceHighly developed written and verbal communication skills. Experience creating and delivering presentations tailored to specific audiences: including technical, senior executives, customers and moreAbility to collaborate with co-workers to achieve project goalsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite - including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPointAbility to comprehend technical detailsAbility to travel domestically 25% Why Us?
