Description:
Job Responsibilities: Provide operational support on a 24x7 rotation basis.Plan and execute data migration and backup strategies for NetApp storage and AWS.Respond to and resolve technical issues, incidents, and outages in a timely manner.Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for internal knowledge base.Implement and configure storage systems, including SANs, NAS, and cloud solutions.Collaborate with team members and vendors to prevent or resolve incidents/problems.Monitor storage performance and capacity, optimizing resources for performance and cost-effectiveness.Troubleshoot storage-related issues and perform root cause analysis.Develop and implement data backup and disaster recovery plans.Contribute to the continual refinement of processes, policies, and best practices.Maintain documentation including troubleshooting guides and support manuals.Contribute to operational reporting including health check reports and incident/problem reports.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.3+ years of experience in SAN administration and zoning.Hands-on experience with PURE Storage and proficiency in AWS Storage Services.Experience with Windows and Linux systems administration.Professional experience with storage platforms such as NetApp and ECS.Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Excellent communication and documentation skills.Desired Skills: Experience with ServiceNow and JIRA.Certification in storage technologies (e.g., NetApp, AWS).Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).Knowledge of data backup and disaster recovery best practices.
