We excel at providing fire protection services ranging from large contract projects to small service repairs.We are looking for the right person to join our team as a Project Estimator . Is that you? If so, we want to talk to you! Responsibilities As a Project Estimator , your key responsibility will be to prepare estimates and budgets for clients in a code compliant manner which results in a project that seamlessly transitions from estimation to design while staying involved throughout the projects life cycle. Knowledge of code including but not limited to NFPA, FM Global, and State standards Prepare preliminary hydraulic calculations, and accurate and detailed estimates utilizing company standard programs Prepare detailed scope letters utilizing company standard proposal forms Participate in project turnovers and assume a proactive role in negotiated work Conduct site visits Continued education through NICET training Key Attributes Comfortable at the table with all levels of leadership Collaborator Integrity Meticulous attention to detail Organized and systematic Proactive problem solver with outstanding interpersonal skills Commitment to excellence What it takes Education: G.E.D (minimum) 5+ years' experience in fire protection design or estimating - REQUIRED. Knowledge of sprinkler head layouts and an understanding of how to perform hydraulic calculations (minimum) Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Quotesoft on screen takeoffs (will train).
