Volt is immediately hiring an Engineering Technician in Palm Bay, FL.As an Engineering Technician, you will:Assists in the design, construction, test, and check-out of test equipment.Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.Works from schematics, operating or repair manuals, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions.May work with complex machines or computer systems.Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.The ideal candidate will have:Minimum 4 years experience in assembly, test, manufacturing, or related field.4 years of experience with manufacturing of space-qualified hardware.Hi-Reliability, Bonding, and Aerial Platform certifications.Experience working with hand and toque tools/measurement tools (Micrometers/Calipers).Sewing experience.Ability to see small parts with or without magnification assistance.Schedule:6:00 AM to 4:30 PM EST Duration: 4-12 Months (with possible extn.)Location: Palm Bay, FLPay Rate: $22.00-28.00/ per hour.*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
