Job Title: Fountain Student Director Status: Full-Time Supervisor: Lead Pastor About The Fountain Church: The Fountain Church is a growing church located in the heart of Suwanee, GA. Our mission is Leading people to life, hope, purpose, and wholeness through Jesus Christ. We have a passion to reach, connect, grow, and send people to become fully-devoted followers of Jesus. The Fountain offers modern worship experiences, dynamic ministries for kids and students, ReFresh Groups, and many ministries to impact the world for Jesus. We are a multi-generational church with a passion to always lean forward to impact the next generation. The Fountain Church was planted in 2012 with a heart to reach new people with the Gospel. This is an exciting season as The Fountain will be building a new permanent campus soon. Key Attributes: A growing and vibrant relationship with Jesus. Passion for students and a track record of leading students into a growing relationship with Jesus. Engaging communicator with the ability to preach. A people gatherer with the ability to connect with students and parents. High capacity leader, team player, and team builder. Primary Responsibilities: Give direction and oversee the overall Student Ministry of The Fountain Church. Plan and develop weekly ministry to help lead students into a growing relationship with Jesus. Reach new students in the area with the Gospel and help connect them to the life of the church. Help students to be engaged in the life of The Fountain Church, including weekly worship, small groups, serving, and mission opportunities. Recruit, develop, and empower leaders to help lead a growing and fruitful Student Ministry. Serve as the primary student leader and communicator for the church. Invest in the lives of students during the week to build relationships with them in the most effective way possible. Oversee the weekly Student Ministry experience including the messages, music, and AVL through empowering volunteers. Meet with Student Ministry leaders (adult and student leaders) on a regular basis to pray, plan, celebrate, and advance the fruitfulness of the student ministry. Project and oversee annual budget for student ministries; oversee expenditures. Lead student retreats for the purpose of spiritual growth and evangelism. Actively seek out continuing education, training, and leadership growth opportunities. Personal Responsibilities: Maintain God ordained priorities and model the life of Jesus in all that you do. Champion the vision, culture, and staff of The Fountain Church and protect the unity of the church. Invest in and invite others in the community to know Jesus and visit The Fountain Church.
