Job Description:Role and Responsibilities Lead and coordinate all aspects of worship music for all services and events. Knowledge of audio and visual aspects of worship services a plus Manage and expand social media presence and establish other creative media outreach. Be responsible for administering the worship ministries from a budgetary and compliance standpoint. Worship Leadership Collaborate with pastoral team to plan all aspects of each worship service or special event, including music selection, creative elements, such as audio, visual and lighting tying all into to the central theme and for smooth flow of service. Provide guidance and direction and support to worship team musicians, vocalists, and tech booth members so that each services worship music is performed in a very professional manner. Foster an atmosphere of spiritual growth and connection through worship selecting music which invokes congregational participation. Provide a variety of worship music, musical instruments, technology, and creative arts in order to appeal and reach a multigenerational congregation. Recruit, train, and mentor worship team members and technical volunteers, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and spiritual growth.Technical Management Work with ministry leaders to improve congregations social media presence. Develop and manage the worship budget, including any necessary amount of contract musicians, equipment purchases, maintenance, and other related expenses. Participate in staff meetings, planning sessions, and other church-related activities, as needed. Post chord charts, MP3s, and other necessary elements for musicians each week. Weekly meetings with Director of Operations to assure worship aligns with Senior Pastors vision.Qualifications and Education Requirements A mature Christian. Proficiency in various musical instruments and singing both solo and in group settings. Bachelors degree in music, worship arts, or related field preferred, but not required. Strong creative, leadership, and organizational skills managing with high-energy and a positive attitude. Good coach who can build people up and developing the fullest of their potential. Proficient with ProPresenter a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities able to speak, lead worship and prayer in front of large audiences. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
