At Seneca, we produce seeds, harvest crops, manufacture our own containers and provide a wide range of nutritious fruit and vegetable products.Seneca Foods Corporation is currently looking for a Technical Manager - Natural Colorant to work at one of our food processing/manufacturing facilities located in Clyman, Wisconsin. The Technical Manager of Natural Colorant manages all aspects of Seneca's Natural Color Products. The Technical Manager also ensures that all products meet or exceed company standrads and comply with local, state and federal food processing regulations. Essential Job Functions:* Performs quality assurance audits to monitor compliance with all GMP standards, Food Safety Standards and Food Safety issues.* Reviews and organizes plant processing records for conformance with regulations and Company policy.* Assists in technical support at the plant level (Agricultural, Processing, QC).* Completes line parameter testing. * Ensures proper inventory and product meets customer specifications which include COA's for each inventory unit. * Analysis / Evaluations* Liaison's with UW and suppliers* Participates in Food Safety audits as required.* Research and Development - Line Extensions to existing products.
