Practice Area: Litigation - General (consumer), Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 4 Years, A law firm in Riverside is seeking a Civil Litigation Attorney with 4+ years of practical civil litigation experience. The ideal candidate will have a JD from an ABA-Approved law school with excellent academic credentials and current California Bar admission in good standing. Duties:Manage cases from inception through trial, including preparation of pleadings, motions, and briefs.Conduct legal research, analysis, and writing.Manage discovery process, including drafting and responding to discovery requests.Take and defend depositions of parties and witnesses.Represent clients in court proceedings and hearings.Negotiate settlements and engage in alternative dispute resolution.Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on civil litigation matters.Utilize electronic discovery platforms effectively.Public entity defense litigation experience is a plus. Requirements:JD from an ABA-Approved law school with excellent academic credentials.Current California Bar admission is in good standing.4+ years of practical civil litigation experience.3 years of trial experience is required; jury trial experience is a plus. Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-Approved law school.Admission to the California State Bar. Skills:Excellent writing, research, negotiation, and communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and electronic discovery platforms.Ability to manage cases independently and efficiently.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced work environment.
