Please follow this link for a closer look at what it's like to work at Children's Wisconsin: https://www.instagram.com/lifeatcw/ The Car Seat Technician will staff the CHW Car Seat Clinic, as well as internal car seat trainings for CHW staff that transport children. Utilizing strong interpersonal and organizational skills, the technician will work with families and CHW staff members to teach them the basic principles around the best practices of child passenger safety. Requirements: Requires a High school education or equivalent. Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician training required within 3 months of hire. Excellent verbal, written, and age-appropriate group facilitation/teaching skills. Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions from diverse individuals, CHW staff and the general public. Ability to work well independently. Work schedule requires flexibility in order to handle changing demands. Shift includes one Wednesday of the week from 8am to 4:30pm in the car seat clinic with the potential to cover a weekend day as needed at the hospital.
