As a vital member of Stand Strong Fencing, the project manager role blends a passion for customer service with hands-on project scheduling, quality control, and warehouse management. You will play a pivotal part in ensuring every fence stands strong, aligning with our company's values and customer expectations. Salary of $50k. Vehicle provided 90 - 120 days after training period. Primary Responsibilities Professionally represent Stand Strong Fencing Develop expertise in product knowledge, technical knowledge, industry and process knowledge in relevant product areas. Oversee job pipeline and respective project workflows Schedule production with customers and install crews Coordinate material orders and procurement Manage subcontractor(s)/installer(s) Oversee project install and quality control standards are upheld Ensure fence layouts are to customer specifications and communicated effectively to install crew Work with install team leaders to understand, explain and analyze client requirements. Ensure that all team members operate in a safe and efficient manner Address client concerns in a timely and professional manner. Perform basic record keeping and data entry to ensure proper tracking of sales and client needs/inquiries. Interact with clients and co-workers in a pleasant and professional manner. Operate a forklift to move, load, unload, and organize materials. Organize inventory for efficient operation. Stage orders and load onto installers’ trucks. Perform other duties as assigned. Skills and Experience Skills: Speaking - Talking to others to convey information effectively. Project Management – Manage projects efficiently and effectively Organizational & Multitasking – ability to administer multiple tasks & responsibilities on a daily basis Sales – home service sales Actively Listening - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times. Active Learning - Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making. Persuasion - Persuading others to change their minds or behaviors. Negotiation - Bringing others together and trying to reconcile differences. Judgment and Decision Making - Managing one’s own time and the time of others. Experience and Education: Relevant experience is preferred Experience operating a forklift is preferred, but training can be provided Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Home service experience is a plus Ability to perform small fence repairs is a plus Skilled in verbal and written communications Polished and professional in demeanor and possess a strong work ethic Basic computer skills and proficiency with the internet Ability to work independently Ability to treat others with respect and gain trust and respect from subordinates and supervisors Exceedingly positive in his/her work attitude Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: Occasionally out in the field knocking on doors and engaging with homeowners. Stand; walk; sit; twist; use hands to handle; reach with hands and arms; push; pull; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear. Work outside in elements and varying seasons Lift, move, and hold up to approximately 100 lbs. Must be able to drive a motor vehicle for extended time periods.
