Job Description/Overview Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, help coordinate daily maintenance and facilities activities. Observe, test, and repair equipment and facilities as needed. The ideal candidate is focused on quality, safety, and productivity. We are looking for a team player with a great attitude who can find humor anywhere and help us meet increasing demand as we grow. Responsibilities and Duties Collaborates with management team to ensure effective warehouse operations Directs and coordinates all activities and personnel within the designated areas of responsibility ensuring the support of daily warehouse operations. This must be accomplished in an environment where safety is first Analyzes workload and assigns manpower to maintain proper service level requirements Motivates, develops, and directs people as they work Ensures thorough and effective troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing of equipment including but not limited to conveyor systems, forklifts, and general facility equipment adhering to all maintenance policies, procedures, and instructions Communicates job expectations and coaches employees Enforces safety and sanitation regulations Inspects facility and equipment to detect defects or malfunctions Ability to listen to others, not interrupting, and asking good questions Provides daily hands-on support for the department Qualifications and Skills Proven basic leadership experience Must have the ability to lead in a fast-paced environment Strong Organizational/Communication/and Logistical skills with solid problem-solving abilities Knowledge of maintenance and repair techniques, capacities, and human resource skills with the goal of improved productivity, quality, and cost reduction Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability, and maturity Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Outlook Engaging, detail oriented, and precise Physical Requirements The employee may occasionally have to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
