The 401 Peer Center is seeking a full-time Registered/Certified Peer Recovery Specialist who would provide non-clinical, person centered wellness focused support to engage consumers and visitors within the 401 Peer Center. The Peer Recovery Specialist position would share their first-hand lived experiences with recovery to inspire hope, increase engagement in treatment and in their communities and support consumers in articulating personal goals for wellness, recovery resiliency and self-advocacy. This full-time role within the 401 Peer Center may require some evening work shifts with occasional weekend shifts; in addition to being available by phone during normal hours (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM) of operation.Starting Hourly Rate: $16.05-Depending on ExperienceEducation/Experience Required: * High School Diploma or equivalent is required. * Must have a mental health or substance use disorder that has impacted your life for two years or more and must identify a year in recovery. * Certification as a Peer Recovery Specialist or demonstrated work towards certification.
