Practice Area: Litigation - General (consumer), Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 3 Years, A law firm in Hartford, CT is seeking a skilled Associate Attorney with 3-8 years of experience and admission to the Connecticut Bar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling a diverse caseload and providing legal representation to clients in various matters. Duties:Conduct legal research and analysis on complex legal issues.Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and agreements.Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys to develop case strategies and provide legal advice.Manage client relationships and communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and stakeholders.Attend depositions, meetings, and client consultations as necessary.Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation.Handle administrative tasks related to casework, including scheduling, billing, and file management. Requirements:Admission to the Connecticut Bar.3-8 years of experience practicing law in a law firm or legal environment.Strong knowledge of Connecticut state laws and court procedures.Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Demonstrated experience in litigation, negotiation, and client advocacy.Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.Proficiency in legal research tools and software.Commitment to providing high-quality legal services and upholding ethical standards. Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications:Admission to the Connecticut Bar.
