Wondersauce is looking for a media-savvy Planner to join our growing team. In this role you’ll be working as part of a multidisciplinary team working across integrated marketing campaigns, communications planning, and all forms of digital (and some traditional) media. We’re looking for someone who’s comfortable with Google and Meta, but also able to take plans far beyond.The ideal candidate is collaborative, well-versed in the media landscape, has a strong attention to detail, knows how to derive strong insights, is interested in learning new things and wearing new and different hats, and has a record for sparking creative ideas that drive results.Responsibilities: Develop multi-channel media plans that reflect the best allocation of clients’ media budgets to achieve business goals. Comfortable managing 7-8 figure media budgets. Experience RFPing 3rd-party media vendors and negotiating rates and placements to ultimately put together the best plan for our clients. Bring campaign ideas to life across multiple channels – including video, social, media + partnerships, email, and more. Manage client communications including presenting strategic recommendations, defending campaign decisions, presenting media results that speak back to business goals, and deriving smart insights from results that inform future brand or campaign decisions. Oversee multiple large budget campaigns simultaneously. Work with producers to keep a pulse on team deliverables and ensure we’re on track to meet deadlines. Know every moving aspect of planned and live campaigns. Ensure ongoing success of the campaign and working with client to set expectations. Keep a pulse on consumer media + marketing trends and platforms. Provide the team with points of view on new paid media units and opportunities. Collaborate cross-discipline (strategy, media, creative, community management) to measure campaign objectives, and optimize based on data. Brief internal creative team and provide insightful and actionable feedback on deliverables. Prepare and present client-facing decks. The ideal candidate has: 2-3 years of experience working as part of a multi-disciplinary team at an advertising, marketing, or media agency. History of building media strategy, multi-channel media plans, and overseeing team of buyers and/or planners. Experience working within Facebook Ads Manager, Google AdWords, Amazon Marketing Services, and DCM. Experience in building/trafficking campaigns is preferred. Experience working across a wide range of industries and clients. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Strong communication and presentation skills are a must.
