Class B Driver/Warehouse Worker

Position Summary: Our client, a reputable company in Euless, TX, is seeking a versatile Hybrid Warehouse Worker/Class B Driver to join their team. This role involves spending 80% of the time performing warehouse duties and 20% of the time driving a Class B truck based on demand. Candidates must have experience in both warehouse operations and driving a Class B truck. The ideal candidate will be flexible, reliable, and capable of handling both warehouse and driving responsibilities effectively. Must hold Class B License Key Responsibilities: Warehouse Duties (80%) : General Cleanup : Conduct comprehensive cleaning tasks both inside and outside the warehouse, including trash pickup and sweeping. Pallet Management : Manage the efficient breakdown and reconstruction of pallets, handling materials with care and precision. Forklift Operation : Safely operate forklifts to assist in the restacking and movement of pallets and goods within the warehouse. Cargo Handling: Load, secure, and unload flooring pallets, ensuring safe and efficient delivery. Driving Duties (20%) : Dedicated Route Management: Operate Class B vehicles to transport multiple pallets of SPC Flooring to commercial and residential locations within California. Efficient Loading and Unloading : Utilize forklifts and other equipment to load and unload flooring materials efficiently at each stop. Shift Management : Complete all assigned deliveries within CA, adhering to variable shift lengths communicated in advance. Professional Communication : Maintain clear communication with the Day of Contact regarding route details, delivery schedules, and any issues encountered. Qualifications: At least 2 years of driving experience. Valid Class B Commercial Drivers License. Experience operating a forklift. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Dependability and punctuality, with the flexibility to accommodate variable shift lengths and extended hours as needed. Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
