Your day-to-day responsibilities will include conducting therapy sessions, assisting with skill-building activities, and collaborating with the clinical team to ensure effective treatment plans. To excel as a Behavior Therapist at Rise Up for Autism in Aurora, IL, you will need strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with individuals with autism and their families. Patience, empathy, and an understanding of behavioral principles are essential for implementing successful intervention strategies. Experience with data collection and analysis is beneficial, as you will be responsible for tracking progress and adjusting treatment plans accordingly. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation purposes and familiarity with behavioral therapy software tools are advantageous.
