Associate Financial Analyst

We're seeking a self-motivated professional with technical and analytical skills to join our Finance Systems and Support team as an Associate Financial Analyst. We are looking for a candidate with strong analytical skills, and interest in understanding accounting systems and business processes. What You'll Do Assist with automation of financial statements and reports. These reports may include, but are not limited to, income statements, balance sheets, and regulatory reports and filings. Complete Workday finance system maintenance and manage system configuration to address business needs. Maintain knowledge of finance applications, data, and business processes. Assist associates with usage of finance applications and creation of reports and data analysis. Review and monitor financial activity, system interfaces, and reporting to ensure strong financial compliance to external rules and internal controls. Assist in the implementation of new financial systems and system enhancements. Work with internal stakeholders to evaluate and align business processes with best processes. Review data flow between systems. Verify completeness and accuracy of financial transaction processing in accordance with accounting principles and reporting requirements. Implement improvements and troubleshoot data reconciliation issues. Assist with support, maintenance, and enhancement of accounting processes and systems. What it Takes Effective analytical and communication skills. Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Accounting, Finance or Accounting Systems. Knowledge of and ability to apply fundamental accounting, financial analysis, and financial control principles. Experience with Excel. Experience with Business Objects,and SQL desired.
