Project Manager The Project Manager shall possess and apply knowledge developing and maintaining the scope, schedule, and budget of assigned IT projects. The candidate shall be capable of supervising and leading a team to ensure customer requirements are met and that the project remains on time, in scope and within budget. The candidate shall be capable of evaluating performance results, performing risk assessments, recommending solutions, and developing procedures and processes. Location: Washington DC / Remote | Position Type: Full-time W2 | Clearance Level: Top Secret Required Experience: 5 years of project management experience with IT projects Active management of project using Microsoft Project Coordinating, updating, and briefing Program Management Office Implementing and following CMMI v2 Services and ISO9001 procedures and processes Specific Tasks: Coordinate installation schedule and team travel to include visitor access requests, eCC, and travel arrangements Create long and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones, adhering to deadlines, and allocating resources. Work within a budget and track financials utilizing Funding and Expenditure Spreadsheets using Government provided format. Delegate tasks on assigned projects to employees best positioned to complete them. Identify and manage potential risks and liabilities of multiple projects. Assist in the definition of project scope and goals. Make effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project. Serve as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy. Communicating with executives, Program Management Office, and the customer to keep the projects aligned with their goals. Perform quality control on the project throughout development to maintain standards. Adjust schedules and targets on the project as needed. Motivate people involved in the project to complete tasks on time. Demonstrate sound judgement and apply depth of knowledge and experience in solving complex challenges where no precedent may exist. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience Excellent customer service skills Strong coordination, organization, teaming, and communication abilities along with horizontal integration skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite An active Top Secret Clearance is required.
