Job Specific Details and Tasks:The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to the following:- Collaborating with various healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care- Ensuring optimal outcomes in terms of clinical care, quality, and cost-effectiveness- Ensuring compliance with established policies, procedures, and guidelines in the MTF (Military Treatment Facility) - Conducting physical exams and health histories- Providing health counseling, promotions, and education- Administering medications, wound care, and other personalized interventions- Supervising care provided by other healthcare professionals- Assigning patient care based on the scope of practice and skill level of assigned personnel- Quickly reacting in emergency situations by recognizing adverse signs and symptoms- Communicating and collaborating with a diverse group of people to inform healthcare teams of plans and actions, provide teaching and education, and benefit patients and organizations- Making referral appointments and arranging specialty care as needed- Conducting research to support improved practice and patient outcomesQualifications: Minimum qualifications for this position include:- Education: Minimum ASN, BSN preferred - Experience: At least one (1) year of recent and relevant primary care experience- Licensure: Active/Unrestricted RN License from any state- Certifications: Possess and maintain an AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification- Security: Ability to pass a government background check and obtain a security clearance.BenefitsBetter compensation and benefits package, including paid vacation, sick time, federal holidays, medical/dental/vision coverage, STD/LTD/Life, Health Savings Account, annual CME stipend, license/certification reimbursement and matching 401K.
