This team-oriented position works 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday during the school year from mid-August through the end of May. The Center Assistant hours Monday through Friday. The hours primarily are between approximately 7:00am-5:30pm, 40 hours per week. Position to start during current school year.The Renewal Unlimited Head Start program is seeking a candidate with a passion for working with preschool aged children! The Center Assistant rides the bus with the children in the morning and at the end of the day. The hours for this position flex Monday through Friday. The hours primarily are Monday through Thursday between approximately 7:00am-4:30pm. Friday hours would be between 8am-4:30pm, until 40 hours are met for the week. Key Responsibilities: Must be available Monday through Friday Works under the direction of the Teacher and Teacher Assistant to follow curriculum, spark creativity and help with school readiness goals Assists with children while being transported on the bus Experience in Special Education is helpful Must complete agency paid Early Childhood I & II classes upon hire. Early Childhood I within first 6 months and Early Childhood II within a year of hire. Center Assistant position is eligible for monthly incentive payments into June 2025, which could be up to $250 additional per month. Preference may be given to candidates with completed Early Childhood I & II classes or professional experience with preschool children.
