Employbridge Search Group has a client in Phoenix, AZ that is looking for a Maintenance Tech to join their team. This is a company that is continuing to grow, has competitive salary and benefits. 2nd Shift: 2pm-10pm Mon-Fri Job Duties * Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot production and manufacturing equipment including, but not limited to plastic mold injection machines, conveyors and other systems * Ensure that all safety, equipment and facility specifications and standards are in compliance. * Log equipment usage, parts replacement, and scheduled maintenance to ensure maximum functionality * Perform daily and scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment in production areas. * Complete IML Set up and Troubleshooting * Reads and understands mechanical schematics; draws sketches to clarify design details and functional criteria of mechanical systems. * Diagnose, analyze and repair electro-mechanical and instrumentation equipment using meters, gauges and other testing methods. * Troubleshoot non-functioning components including servos, sensors, and control components * Maintains and troubleshoot in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic devices and principles to install, repair, and/or replace defective equipment. * Identify root causes of downtime, poor production performance, non-conforming product and scrap * Assist supervisor in writing and updating standard maintenance procedures and work instructions. * Prepares work areas to ensure tools needed are available and in proper working order. * Troubleshoots and resolves equipment problems while demonstrating proactive maintenance concepts and employees' best practices. * Maintains good housekeeping using the 5S principles. * Identify need of replacement or of new equipment * Other duties as assigned.Requirements: * High school diploma or equivalent is required. Technical or Vocational degree is a plus * 3+ years in Industrial Maintenance * Previous experience with plastics mold injection machine capacity 10-1000 ton machines * Capable of working in a team environment * Follow safety regulations * Ensure machinery is fixed in a timely manner * Standing, sitting, walking, vision, lifting, bending, climbing, reaching.
