Job Overview: First Christian Church of Huntington Beach has entered into an exciting new chapter and is ready for the next Director of Student Ministries to lead our junior high and high school ministries. The primary focus will be on junior high and high school students, but they will also participate in our overall family ministry. They will develop weekly programs for junior high and high school students while investing relationally in the students, volunteers, and their families. We offer competitive compensation packages including salary commensurate with experience. This is a full-time position with opportunities for professional growth within our organization. Key Responsibilities: Work in support of the vision and mission of FCCHB Keep the strategy of Students Ministries in alignment with the vision of FCCHB Lead Junior High and High School Ministries Recruit, lead, love and resource the student ministry volunteer team Participate in regular developmental opportunities that help you grow as a follower of Jesus and a leader Communicate with parents to keep them informed Develop and implement a ministry strategy to reach students in our city What a strong candidate looks like: Loves Jesus Is highly relational and shows up for others Is committed to being a disciple-maker Proven ability to recruit, train, and build volunteer teams Is comfortable working in a laidback and flexible environment Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills Is highly teachable and coachable Is passionate about the next generation What we offer: Competitive salary range Great PTO plan Flexible schedule Generous ministry budget and resources Apple Macbook and IPad Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree 3-5 years of experience preferred Benefits: 403b and matching Medical, dental & vision insurance Flexible schedule Paid time off Education: Bachelor Degree Experience: Ministry: 3 years (Preferred)
