Practice Area: Professional Liability Defense, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 4 Years, A law firm in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a Professional Liability Associate Attorney with 4+ years of experience in handling legal and accounting malpractice cases. The candidate will independently manage a litigation caseload, handle various professional liability matters, and communicate with clients. Duties:Independently manage a litigation caseload and work cases from inception through resolution.Communicate with clients and provide status reports.Handle a wide array of professional liability matters, including malpractice cases and claims against attorneys, insurance agents/brokers, accountants, and real estate agents.Conduct legal research and analysis.Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.Attend hearings, mediations, and other court proceedings.Collaborate with partners and other attorneys on case strategy and trial preparation. Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA accredited law school.Admission to the California State Bar.4+ years of experience in handling legal and accounting malpractice cases.Superior academic credentials.Excellent written and oral communication skills. Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA accredited law school. Certifications:Admission to the California State Bar. Skills:Strong litigation skills.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Ability to independently manage a caseload.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Attention to detail.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Proficiency in legal research and writing.
