The ideal candidate will have outstanding credentials and qualifications. Duties:Work on a variety of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, financings, joint ventures, strategic alliances, and restructurings.Draft and negotiate software and systems agreements, outsourcing agreements, RD agreements, collaboration agreements, and other commercial agreements.Handle licenses for patents, trademarks, copyrights, and data/databases.Provide legal advice and support on technology and IP-intensive matters.Conduct due diligence and assist with transactional closings.Collaborate with partners, associates, and support staff on transactional matters. Requirements:4-6 years of experience with technology and IP-intensive transactions or other relevant experience.Outstanding credentials and qualifications. Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the New York State Bar or eligibility for admission by waiver. Skills:Experience with technology and IP-intensive transactions.Strong drafting and negotiation skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
