The Associate Attorney will focus on managing multiple matters simultaneously, primarily dealing with registered investment companies, investment advisers, and federal securities laws compliance. Duties:Manage multiple matters concurrently within the realm of investment servicesProvide legal counsel on regulatory and compliance issues related to federal securities lawsHandle matters concerning registered investment companies and investment advisersConduct research and analysis on relevant legal issues Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree with strong academic credentialsAdmission to the Bar in relevant jurisdiction or taking steps to become admitted4-6 years of experience in investment services, particularly with registered investment companies and investment advisersProficiency in regulatory and compliance matters regarding federal securities laws, including the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the Securities Act of 1933 Education Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree Skills:Strong organizational skills for managing multiple matters simultaneouslyAnalytical skills for legal research and problem-solvingKnowledge of federal securities laws and regulations, particularly the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the Securities Act of 1933 Here is a premier mid-sized law firm, with sophisticated practice in corporate, labor and employment, and litigation.
